Great guided hike with a lovely meadow where you can stop for a break. Stone benches with fantastic views mean that there are plenty of places where you can stop for breather. We will pass through pine forests, Mediterranean forests and scrubs. Is not a long trail, so if we have energy and time we will be able to visit an area where different structures from the Spanish civil war are placed (this suppose to add 2km more) . Sierra Huétor was very important in this war and the front between both armies was placed in this area.
We recommend carrying 1,5l of water. It is possible refill our water bottles during the hike at the source of the River Darro (Fuente de la Teja) but this point is near the end of the trip! Sunglasses, sun cream, protective lip cream and a hat. T-shirt and long arm T-shirt, rain coat depending on the weather forecast. Short or long trousers, trekking shoes, hiking sticks and your personal first aid kit.
Participants should take nuts, dried fruits, and sandwiches for a picnic lunch.
