In this full-immersion language course, you will interact with your teachers, Spanish students, mountain guides and local hikers.

• Program of the classes

  Standard:

  • 4 lessons per day
  • Classes per week: 20
  • Duration of classes: 50 minutes.
  • Method: Rotation of teachers.
  • Material included in the price: Books and all the necessary equipment.
  • Social and cultural activities: Every day, with Spanish Teachers.

• Program of the hiking activities

  1-week program

  • Two short hikes (3-4 hours) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon
  • 1-day hike on Saturday
  • 1-day hike on Sunday

   

  2-weeks program

  • Four short hikes (3-4 hours) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon each week
  • 1-day hike on Saturday
  • 1-day hike on Sunday: on these hikes you will join a group of local spanish hikers from Granada.
  • In the case of the student stay in Granada will be invited for free to another extra excursion the second Sunday

   

  

   

Distribution of time and academic activities

Explanation of the numbers:

1. Practice based on grammar: 2 classes per day
Explanations of grammar extracts and immediate exercise practice in real communicative situations. Corrections of homework.

2. Practice and conversation based on thematical units: 2 classes per day
Oral and written exercises, comprehension practice (audio-visual material and analysis of documents or magazines, books, television, and radio) and conversation related to the specific topics studied.

3. Extracurricular activities (optional): 
To gain knowledge of a language, cultural immersion is necessary. With this in mind, CastiLa offers different social activities that help the foreign students’ integration into the Spanish life. These activities are of a wide variety, including Spanish movies, thematic evenings, musical evenings, trips visits, parties, sports, “tapas time” and “paellas”.

4. Hiking activities:
Spanish practicing while walking and discovering the beauty of the natural areas that surround Granada. Learn about our natural and cultural heritage, landscape, flora, fauna among others. You will be able to share this hikes with other students or local hikers in order to have a real immersion in the nature lovers world.

4* In case of two-week courses these hikes on Saturday and Sunday correspond to the first weekend
The student is invited to do a second free hike on the second Sunday

Payment

Deposit of 50 % of the total to book and reserve the course. At last 1 month before the starting date

The balance 15 days before the starting date.

Cancellation and refund policy

In case of cancellation, the following policy applies.

• More than 45 days prior to the starting date of the trip, we will grant you a full refund minus a €50 administrative fee per reservation.
• Between 44 days and 15 days prior to the starting date of the trip, we will retain 50% of the trip cost.
• Less than 15 days prior to the starting date of the trip, or once the trip has begun, there will be no refund.
