The trip:
The trip starts at the “Tajos de Alhama” (Alhama de Granada cliffs) viewpoint. The path descends down the gorge and continues along the bottom of the cliff to finish at a small dam with bird watching points. We’ll hike up to a poplar forest after passing by the dam. After eating some fruit we’ll follow the path that will lead us through holm and cork oak forests. We’ll circle a quarry and we’ll return following the same path.

- Geological: The Tajos de Alhama de Granada Cliffs
- Forest of small cork oaks, a rare specie in Granada
Equipment recommended:
We recommend carrying 2l of water. Sunglasses, sun cream, protective lip cream and a hat. Short arm shirt and long arm shirt. Windstopper or raincoat depending on the weather forecast. Hiking sticks, flashlight, and your personal first aid kit.
Logistics:
Participants should take nuts, dried fruits and sandwiches for lunch.
Price “custom dates”: 50€/pp, including guiding and transportation. 2 participants minimun. 20% off for more than 4 participants.
Purchasing Conditions: Excursions must be booked and payed for at least three days in advance. Participants must arrive at the meeting point on time. The group will wait for participants for five minutes, but then leave. In this situation, no money will be reimbursed.
